English Camp

The Philippines is one of the largest English-speaking countries in the world. Foreigners choose the Philippines to study the English language because they can learn not only within the confines of the classroom, but in almost all social situations they find themselves in the country.

Mapúa has developed an intensive program for inbound exchange students at the undergraduate level to promote the use of spoken English in various settings such as academic, professional, cultural, and social situations. This program includes brief immersion of students in various in-campus and out-of-campus activities that foster facility and confidence in the use of the English language. Students under the English camp are also immersed with Mapúa student organizations and major English classes of native speakers. They are also brought to cultural trips, adventure trips, and team building activities.
